Peaceful, beautiful fountain

I purchased this pot fountain 3 years ago, and it has brought tranquility and beauty to my meditation shade garden. Well-built and designed for small outdoor spaces the Rustica Pot Fountain was easy to set up and just as easy to prepare for non-use winter months (purchase the cover if you live in a place that freezes in the winter because you will need to drain the fountain and cover it prior to its winter hibernation). The electric, submersible fountain motor is absolutely 100% quiet; it is not possible to hear it. All that can be heard is the peaceful sound of the bubbling water. The birds in my backyard were very curious to see this fountain after it was first installed, and they have come to regularly quick-visit the fountain to take sips of water ever since. However, because of its design, the fountain cannot be used as a bird bath, so there is no worry that birds will dirty the water by bathing in it, or make the fountain a place to hang out for long periods of time. They won't. Here's a tip for any submersible fountain motor: wrap it every six to nine months with new cheesecloth, then place it back in the bottom of the fountain pot. The cheesecloth acts as a debris barrier which could harm the functioning of the motor. I like the design and functioning of this fountain so much, I am considering purchasing a second one.
